About Us

Here at Jennys Kindy, we are an established provider of early learning and day care services. We pride ourselves in creating a premium educational environment while caring for children in our car. We want to enrich and challenge our children as well as offering a safe and supportive learning environment in which they can thrive. We want to share with you a little more about what you can expect when enrolling your child in Kennys Kindergarten and Early learning centre.

What training will be provided?

Full training will be provided for any teachers that are employed by Jenny’s Kindergarten. We also take time to prepare our parents and our children before they start their learning journey with us.

What will the children learn during their stay?

There is an extensive curriculum that we like to follow and they include many different key areas. The first main area we cover is STEM. Science, technology, engineering and math. They cover subjects that include gravity, electricity and sound. Enviro club that includes a focus on the environment. The Arts which will expose children to artistic opportunities that include music, drama, visual arts and dance. Mind/Body/Soul that teaches the importance of health and fitness from an early age. World travelers which help your child to be exposed to different cultures and countries beyond their backyard, students will also participate in a 26-week spanish program. Community links is a program where we believe that learning goes beyond the classrooms. Our children will have opportunities to understand specific roles within the community. Finally urban kindy, where we believe it is important for children to have uninterrupted free play.

How can parents contribute towards learning?

Parents can help contribute to the learning of their child by getting involved in conversations with their child at the end of the day. Our staff will also be happy to have conversations or answer any questions that you may have about your child's development and learning journey while they spend time with us.

What to expect from a typical day for your child

Everyday will be different however a day in our childcare setting starts the moment a parent drops their child off with us. A typical day should include everything from plenty of playtime which will be indoor and outdoor, structured learning, socialization and exploration. Children will be given healthy nutritious meals at lunchtime and healthy snacks in the day. Younger children will also be given time for a nap. No two days will be exactly alike, but there is some form of routine and structure to each day that will be beneficial to the learning process.
